Your Night Time Beauty Regimen All Sorted

Who doesn’t want to look like a goddess when they wake up in the morning? Whilst getting plenty of sleep at night definitely helps towards achieving great skin, investing in some tender lovin’ care for your epidermis right before you hit the sack acts as a catalyst in the process.

Cultivate these before-bed beauty habits alongside your daytime skincare routine, and watch the magic unfold on your skin.

Ditch the make-up before climbing into bed

A no-brainer for anyone who is serious about skincare. It is of utmost importance to cleanse your face of any makeup, otherwise you will end up with clogged pores, breakouts and acne. Pick up a cotton ball, make-up remover, and wash the dirt and oil away from your visage.

Wash Your Face!

Whilst some may say that the removal of makeup is equivalent to washing of the face, there’s no harm in going the extra mile to make sure that your face is bright and clean. Using water and the face wash suited to your skin, gently rub your face and neck in order to remove any dirt and grime that may have accumulated during the day.

Skin care products are a must

Despite whatever products you may be using the day, a combination of toner, moisturizer and eye cream, especially those with anti-oxidants (vitamins C and E) during the night works wonders for the skin. Toner stabilizes the skin’s pH levels, moisturizer helps in hydration, and eye cream works away those fine lines and wrinkles under your peepers.

Get A Humidifier

Like its name suggests, a humidifier raises the humidity level of the room, and helps to keep your skin hydrated. Very much like your trusty moisturizer.

Prop Up Your Pillow

If you’re a heavy drinker (or have been consuming excessive spirits on any given night), then this tip will be of use to you. When you prop up your pillow at night, all the excessive fluids are drained from your face and upper body due to the elevation. You will wake up with a pretty face in the morning.

Sleep Right

The adage about getting a beauty sleep is true: everyone needs a good solid 8 hours of shut eye. Your body repairs itself when you are resting, resulting in a beautiful and radiant you. But sleep is not the only factor which makes a difference, you need to do a bit of prepping in order to achieve a radiant glow.
